Children, teens and adults alike participate in group therapy. In group therapy one or more therapists are involved in assessing the group. Group therapy can be categorized into several categories:

1. Cognitive Behavioral Groups which are focused on changing inaccurate thinking patterns. Additional focuses include emotional responses as well as behaviors. 

2. Interpersonal Groups focus on your interpersonal relationships and Social interactions Including support from others and how these relationships have an effect in your life 

3. Psychoeducational Groups are ones that focus on  educating clients about their disorders and ways of coping with them based on the principals of Cognitive behavior therapy (CBT)

4. Skills Development Groups focus on improving the social skills of patients with mental disabilities or developmental issues.

5. Support Groups - we have a variety of groups here to support what you or a family member are enduring. Allow us to help you successfully survive the trial.

Each group session can be as small as three or four people or may be as large as eight to 12. Learning unique ways to overcome and work on solutions  and even learning things that do not work are the greatest benefit of group sessions.
